Douglas Spencer and his companions, Aidan, Ezra, Bayani, and Angel, are in flight, running through the forest. Douglas presses his companions to keep running from their pursuers, but Angel begins to doubt Douglas' judgment. Angel separates from the band of escapees and is forced to face his own private hell.
After three long, weary days, the four remaining travelers happen upon a large, foreboding house in the middle of the forest. They are greeted by an enigmatic lady named Olivia who warns them that the only road leading from the house is too long and treacherous for them to take. She convinces them to stay. Aidan, however, has other plans and urges Douglas to leave the house.
Douglas soon begins to face ghosts of the past, as frightful visions haunt both his dreams and waking hours. His companions then mysteriously begin to be murdered one-by-one. Is the murderer someone in the house, or are the murders the result of supernatural forces that have escaped Douglas' nightmares from the past?
